Fluid Transfer Division of Lee Industries has designed their ultra sanitary diaphragm valves to meet the extreme parameters required for pharmaceutical/bio-tech processing. The critical ID and OD finishes are unsurpassed in the industry at less than 6 Ra. A smaller, thicker diaphragm insures increased strength and longevity while a steeper slope gives maximum drainability.

The open/close operations also significantly enhanced by the use of a ball bearing design that is quicker and smoother, but with less actual rotation.

The diaphragm valve geometry has been carefully scrutinized for optimum compatibility in mating to various vessel configurations. The smaller valve body as well as the placement and angle of the outlet allow for convenient installation and servicing on all tanks including the smaller bioprocessors. A shallow cupped mounting flange creates a flush profile with the vessel bottom head ID to eliminate isolated product area and insure complete discharge of the batch.
