SANITARY Air Actuated Flush-Type Fluid-Flow Ball Valves
Fluid Transfer's air actuated flush-type ball valves are precision made of Type 316 stainless steel welded parts with Type 316-L stainless steel mounting flange. The corrosion-resistant, sanitary design of Fluid-Flow ball valves makes them ideal for use in the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, beverage, and chemical industries. Where flush-type ball valves are not easily accessible for manual operation, they can be equipped with air actuators for remote actuation. The actuators can be triggered through a switch or control panel. Air actuated Fluid-Flow flush-type ball valves lend themselves to C.I.P. (clean-in-place) systems. Vane type, rack and pinion air-to-air or spring-return actuators are available. The vane actuator housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum and is externally coated with baked epoxy. The rack and pinion actuator is standard with a precision extruded hard-anodized aluminum body and pistons for long life and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is also available. The temperature range for air actuators on Fluid-Flow ball valves is -40° to +180° F. Completely sealed and weatherproofed, each unit is inspected and factory tested.

SANITARY Air Actuated In-Line Fluid-Flow Ball Valves
Fluid Transfer's two-way and three-way diverter air actuated in-line Fluid-Flow ball valves are designed for rigid corrosion-resistant, high sanitary applications in the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, beverage and chemical industries. Standard fully-encapsulating Mica-Filled Teflon seals provide the maximum reduction in product entrapment while full flow ports, also standard, eliminate product flow restrictions. The 90° vane-type air-to-air actuator allows for on-off operation when connected to Fluid-Flow two-way in-line ball valves. Cycle time is approximately 1 second for both types of actuators, allowing for positive shutoff in a short period of time. Rack and pinion actuators are offered in air-to-air and spring return designs. |
